How to Play Rover (Spectro)

How to play Rover (Spectro): intro → Resonance Skill → Forte Circuit → Resonance Liberation → outro, plus strengths, investment, and common mistakes for Version 3.6.

Last updated:

Overview

Rover (Spectro) is a 5★ Spectro Sword Main DPS from Huanglong. The form teaches intro, Forte Circuit, Resonance Liberation, and outro before any limited banner exists. Version 3.6 still uses them as a second-side Spectro body when Jinhsi or Phoebe is busy, not as the account ceiling.

Rotation

Baizhi or Verina intros, heals, and outros. Sanhua or Yangyang builds Concerto as fast as possible and outros. Rover (Spectro) intros, spends Resonance Skill to mark, converts Forte Circuit, drops Resonance Liberation, then outros before the next wave. Do not hold Liberation after the battery window dies.

Strengths

Free, available on day one, and honest enough to finish early Union Level stories. Celestial Light pieces transfer if you later pull a Spectro carry. The kit is simple enough that outro timing is the only real homework.

Weaknesses

Havoc Rover and Aero Rover both outpace this form in the teams that matter in Version 3.6. Personal damage falls off in late Tower if echoes stay mixed ATK. Sequences do not invent a new job.

Investment

Level Resonance Liberation, Resonance Skill, then Forte Circuit. A finished 5-piece beats a half-leveled signature you do not have. Stop dumping Waveplates here the week a dedicated Spectro carry is pulled. Union Level gates Tacet Fields — do not refill plates with Lunites to rush this set.

Common Mistakes

Collapsing all three Rover forms onto one page. Farming two Spectro sonatas. On-fielding after Concerto is already full. Treating Sequences as a requirement. Building a four-person screenshot from another game.
