How to Play Jiyan

How to play Jiyan: intro → Resonance Skill → Forte Circuit → Resonance Liberation → outro, plus strengths, investment, and common mistakes for Version 3.6.

Last updated:

Overview

Jiyan is a 5★ Aero Broadblade Main DPS from Huanglong. Version 3.6 did not delete him — Qingxiao simply took the premium Aero spend. A finished Sierra Gale set and Mortefi still end most floors.

Rotation

Verina or Shorekeeper outros. Mortefi builds Concerto with Resonance Skill and coordinated shots, then outros. Jiyan intros, casts Resonance Liberation, and rides the Heavy Attack loop until the window ends. Outro before the amp expires. Aim Liberation; sloppy placement wastes the whole cycle.

Strengths

Simple rotation, 4-star amplifier, and a kit that still clears. Good second-side Aero option if Qingxiao owns the first.

Weaknesses

Qingxiao outscales the premium ceiling. Energy issues if ER is ignored. AoE holograms punish sloppy Liberation aim.

Investment

Liberation, then Forte Circuit, then Resonance Skill. Waveplates on Sierra Gale if he is the weekly Aero clear. New Astrites in 3.6 usually belong on Qingxiao, not a second Jiyan copy.

Common Mistakes

Rebuilding him from scratch the week Qingxiao is pulled. Holding Liberation into an empty Mortefi window. Farming Windward Pilgrimage and Sierra Gale at the same time.
